BodhSaarthi started from a simple observation: schools in India — even well-run, respected ones — were spending enormous energy on manual record-keeping, register maintenance, and cross-checking data that lived in five different places. The technology to fix this existed. It just wasn't built for the way these schools actually work.
Most school management software is designed for large institutional buyers — with complex pricing, mandatory training programs, and features built around compliance checklists rather than daily use. The accountant sitting in a small-town school doesn't need a 200-page manual. She needs to collect a fee, print a receipt that looks right, and know who hasn't paid this month.
BodhSaarthi is built around that accountant. And the principal who wants to see today's attendance without logging into a separate system. And the teacher who needs to submit marks without a 10-step process. See the full feature list to know exactly what's included.
We started close to home — with schools in Bihar — and we're now growing to serve schools across India. Every feature we've built has come from watching real school staff use the system, and then making it faster for them.
We wanted something that works the way we work — not something we have to change ourselves to use.
We're actively working with schools across India, starting from Bihar, and looking for more to join early. Early adopters get personal onboarding and direct input into what we build next.
